  • Beautiful and unusual color—surprisingly versatile. Sturdy material.

  • I ordered this shirt several years ago, and was quite disappointed by the fabric quality on this one. The color was beautiful, a nice pale green for spring. Unfortunately, the fabric itself was too thick for springtime wear and felt very rough on the skin. Additionally, the yoke ripped from the back the first time I wore the shirt. That said, this was 5 years ago, and proper cloth has vastly improved their stitching quality since. I don't believe this fabric is still available.

  • For whatever reason, this fabric has not aged quite as well as the others I have purchased, but it still beats almost every other shirt I\'ve purchased elsewhere.

October 2015  ·  Brian in Seattle, WA

  • Soft but holds up well during the day. Looks sharp at day end.

March 2015  ·  Thomas in Seattle, WA

  • Very subtle green. Love it!

December 2014  ·  Charles in Mount Laurel, NJ

  • Thick, comfy

November 2014  ·  Rhodri in Seattle, WA

  • Very thick fabric, so not great for summer wearing. The pale green breaks up the blue shirts in the office without being too aggressive on the green scale.

  • Nothing too unique here. But green goes with more suit combos than most people think - so at least as versatile as a red or pink oxford.

June 2014  ·  Joseph in New York, NY

  • Tumult...actually Seph showed me a fabric in darker green I liked better but it was unavailable...took this as a substitute...Wife really likes this one but it\'s discontinued too...so, just ordered another green oxford...memorial service tbd...

April 2014  ·  Lance in Berkeley, CA

  • This is a very heavy fabric with a sheen. I thought it would be lighter. It looks very nice, but the color is more spring and summer when I ten to want a lighter short.

September 2013  ·  Eric in Short Hills, NJ

  • Not as much of a fan of this one as I thought I\'d be. Other basketweaves I\'ve seen are more open and cooler. This fabric is heavier than I expected. Interested to see how it feels after a bit of wear.

July 2013  ·  David in Broomfield, CO

  • Beautiful rich looking print.

July 2013  ·  Stacey in Fitchburg, WI

  • Great fabric. Exactly as described.

July 2013  ·  Ted in Laguna Niguel, CA

  • The fabric is durable and the accompanying letter outlined care and shrinkage expectations, which are all the purchaser needs to know during the care & wear process. I would recommend this fabric because of its quality and ease of care, not to mention durability.

June 2013  ·  Ramrick in Great Falls, VA

  • The thickness of this fabric requires a little more work than some of the other shirts I\'ve gotten.

June 2013  ·  Graham in Cary, NC

  • I really like the feel and texture of this material. It is on the thick side (no need to wear an undershirt for me). I\'m knocking it down a point just because it\'s not quite as green as I was expecting - it\'s quite pale as the white in the fabric comes across more when seen from a distance. But overall a nice fabric.

March 2013  ·  Adam in Sunnyvale, CA

  • Thick and beautiful. The shade of green is perfectly tasteful. Ideal for colder weather.

February 2013  ·  Michael E in Birmingham, AL

  • very nice color especially when mixed with a pink inside collar

December 2012  ·  aram in Brooklyn, NY

  • This is a great fabric but it is heavier than I anticipated and it is REALLY hard to get the wrinkles out. This is the first Proper Cloth shirt I\'ve purchased that was NOT a \"wrinkle resistant\" fabric. I think I\'m going to have to go back to order the \"wrinkle resistant\" fabrics but unfortunately Proper Cloth has a very limited collection of those fabrics. Come on PC lets add more selection in that area!!!!! :)

December 2012  ·  Bryan in Pasadena, CA

  • Extremely shiny. Nice texture. I haven\'t exactly figured out what to do with this one yet. Too shiny for chinos, too rough a texture for suits. It reminds me of some ties I\'ve bought in the past that I love on the rack, but can\'t find a place for in my wardrobe.

November 2012  ·  Brad in Austin, TX

  • This one might be a little too shiny.

October 2012  ·  Rich in Memphis, TN

  • Great texture. A pleasure to wear.

October 2012  ·  Pierre in Victoria, BC

  • Great color, pairs well with a lot of colors. Grey, Khaki, Blue.

September 2012  ·  Andrew in Brooklyn, NY

  • Very nice material, and had I ordered a different collar style, it would have been a home run. But, with the club collar it hit the right side foul pole and bounced foul. The reason? No collar stays in the club collar and it just does not look right with a tie without them. For me, this a deal breaker, which is unfortunate as the shirt is perfect in every other way.

August 2012  ·  allan in wagoner, OK

  • It feels really thick and I think it shrunk a little when I washed it. It is still one of my favorite shirts, however.

July 2012  ·  Kevin in Santa Cruz, CA

  • Pairs well

July 2012  ·  stephen in Los Angeles, CA

  • I like this fabric, but it’s much more rigid than I would have expected. The color is true to the image, slightly under-stated green has a lot of utility. The hand is also very nice.

June 2012  ·  Christopher in SEATTLE, WA

  • The Fabric thick and the color is a summer color. So if you are in a cool (AC) environment this shirt will play well in warm weather. If it had been a different (darker) color for fall or winter then it would have been ideal.

June 2012  ·  G. Jamie in New York, NY

  • Looks kinda coarser than I expected from just looking at it online, and also relatively heavy. Not sure I\'d get this again.
