Fabric Description

Masculine shades of green and navy on this classic multi gingham pattern. We know guys love their gingham shirts, so we developed this one with the same super soft brushed finish as our Dock Street Flannels. It's just light enough to wear under a sport coat if you'd like to dress it up. Just make sure you order it with a soft collar, cuffs, and placket!

  • Awesome. One of my new favorite work shirts for fall and winter. Looks great with a suit or casual.

May 2015  ·  Bram in Brooklyn, NY

  • Handsome shirt...

May 2015  ·  Ronald in Athens, GA

May 2015  ·  Philip in Gorham, ME

  • great fabric, works with jeans or slacks, extremely comfortable

March 2015  ·  Wyatt in New York, NY

  • A heavier shirt. Mix of blue and greens is conservative but adds some visual interest.

March 2015  ·  Ondraus in Issaquah, WA

  • This one may be my favorite as it has a nice versatility that makes it work in a business setting, while keeping me warm.

March 2015  ·  Kirill in New Canaan, CT

  • Doesn\'t look as good in person.

February 2015  ·  Terence in Beacon Hill, NSW

  • Really enjoy the subtlety of this one. In fluorescent light it almost looks grey, in incandescent the green really pops, while in sunlight the blue shines. Feel luxurious on the skin.

January 2015  ·  Andrew in PORTLAND, OR

  • I really like this fabric - a nice splash of subdued color, still a very modest appearance with a bit more excitement. This flannel is smooth and soft with a great color combination - the green is quite subtle (in a nice way) so it really reads as a blue shade from afar. A great casual fabric, I think it works really well with a soft cuff and collar.

  • This fabric is smart looking and wears extremely well. I am very pleased with this choice, and have already received numerous compliments on how well this shirt fits my visibly amazing physique. Some comments from people seeing me in this shirt were: \"Are you a superhero?\" and \"That shirt really fits your visibly amazing physique\" and \"Are you from Tennessee because you\'re the only ten I see...\" and \"The only way that shirt would look better is crumpled on the floor next to my bed\". At least, I think I heard those things...

January 2015  ·  Brian in Westminster, MA

  • Very nice fabric - a lightweight flannel. The blue dominates the overall color; the green is recessive, but that\'s ok with me. Looks good with jeans or khakis. Doesn\'t seem to need much ironing - just a quick press to make it smooth. I line dry it, btw, no dryer.

January 2015  ·  Todd in Centerville, MA

  • sweetest shirt i own

January 2015  ·  scott in smithville, MO

  • Cool looking but definitely on the stiff side. I\'m hoping it loosens up after some washing.

January 2015  ·  Jason in New York, NY

  • I thought the green would be a little more pronounced. The flannel itself is very nice - light and soft. However, at a distance, it just looks like a navy gingham shirt.

January 2015  ·  Emil in New York, NY

  • Great fabric with a little thickness which is great for colder weather.

December 2014  ·  Philip in CHARLOTTE, NC

  • Fabric looks great...very soft..thicker than most shirts I own, but not too thick. Great for a casual Friday or at the weekend.

November 2014  ·  James in AUSTIN, TX

  • I LOVE everything about this cloth! Nice substance. Good color and pattern. Looks great with a knit tie. (A couple of reviewers were disappointed in small size of check pattern... I think that\'s exactly why I like it.) Launders beautifully; came back with no shrinkage. My favorite cool weather weekend shirt. (Or office-casual.)

November 2014  ·  JOHN in EUGENE, OR

  • Lovely fabric. Thicker than most fabrics, but not as heavy as the fullest Oxford cloth. Perfect for cooler weather. To my eyes, the green stands out slightly more than the navy, but the navy can really be brought out when paired with a navy sweater or sport coat.

November 2014  ·  Jeff in Palo Alto, CA

  • Great shirt in general, but for my uses a bit thick (should have noted the thickness on the site) for under a sportcoat (really though, that\'ll depend on your climate) and really wish the scale was a bit larger so the white would pop a little more, making it easier to harmonize with a white pocket square. This is nitpicking though, really - good shades and a perfect fall/winter casual shirt.

November 2014  ·  Andrew in Conway, AR

  • Amazing as usual

October 2014  ·  Sam in WEST PALM BEACH, FL

  • Very nice, soft flannel. Works really well with a soft, button down collar and soft cuffs. Terrific for cooler weather.

October 2014  ·  Joe in San Diego, CA

  • Great for casual or dress. Comfortable and wears really well.

October 2014  ·  Nathan in Wyndmoor, PA

  • Great fabric with great colors and great feel.

October 2014  ·  Bryce in New Hope, PA

  • smaller check than hoped

October 2014  ·  Charles in louisville, KY

  • Beautiful light flannel

October 2014  ·  Del in Albany, GA

  • Fabric was exactly what I was hoping for in a flannel, it has enough weight but isn\'t overly heavy, great casual fabric with soft collar and pockets.

October 2014  ·  Michael in west des moines, IA

  • It\'s greAt. Almost wish the pattern was bugger

October 2014  ·  Todd in New York, NY

  • Haven\'t been big on flannel in the past, but really like this soft fabric

October 2014  ·  Eddie in West Bloomfield, MI
