Carmine Blue Red Prince of Wales Check Fabric

Description

Fabric Description

A bold, beautiful check. The Prince of Wales check has long been a go-to pattern for guys with a bit more panache, thanks to its refined, yet dynamic look. The base of the fabric is a classic blue glen plaid, but it's livened up by rich red overcheck. The silky smooth 60's compact broadcloth construction feels great to the touch and looks super crisp when pressed. It's a lighter weight poplin, which means it can be prone to wrinkling throughout the day--if you're a non-iron guy through and through, this may not be the best choice for you. This is the sort of pattern that really looks great on a bolder collar like the President Cutaway or Romay Cutaway, with either a two-button or French cuff. Please note that this is a limited edition style that will not be restocked once it sells out.

  • Good pattern. Wrinkles fairly easy. I don't wear often, no reason why just doesn't jump off hanger like other shirts wanting me to wear.

  • This is a very smooth light fabric, with a striking thin red stripe intertwined amongst the soft pale blue pattern. I wear this one to work for executive meetings and to upscale Library / cocktail lounges.
