Navy 80s Broadcloth Fabric

$95

Description

Fabric Description

A crisp broadcloth gives you that dressy, downtown feel that many love. The color is a mid navy, not quite as dark as a midnight navy, yet darker than a royal blue. It's piece dyed in order to give the fabric a perfectly consistent coloring, and is woven with an 80s two-ply construction for durability. A great alternative to a black shirt. It's also treated with a very light wrinkle resistant finish in order to allow the shirt to iron more easily, but don't mistake this one for a non-iron shirt. Go for a President Spread collar if you want a great, professional look or up the ante with a President Cutaway if your style is bolder.

  • I wasn't thrilled with the look of this shirt. I have worn a few times with Jeans but it really doesn't look good with Dockers or slacks.

January 2016  ·  Nicolas in Edina, MN

  • Great fabric. Love the color that can be dressed up or down, crisp and sturdy to hold the look. It actually looks better on than anticipated and it was a great value. I will definitely be getting more colors in this fabric.

December 2015  ·  Jordan in Kings Point, NY

  • Classic, understated. The finish of the fabric is nice, not too shiny, not exactly matt either. Works with both casual and work clothes.

December 2015  ·  Jack in Oakland, ME

  • Ordering from proper cloth, is like going to a strip club, and finding one of the \"popular girls\" from the Pom Pom squad shaking her money maker for dollar bills. In other words -awesomeness.

November 2015  ·  Scott in Elmhurst, IL

  • Good material. Accurate color.

November 2015  ·  Dan in ROCKVILLE, MD

  • Being much cheaper than Genova or Thomas Mason fabrics, I expected my Navy 80s shirts to feel -- well, cheaper. I was pleasantly surprised to find this shirt felt and looked high quality in its own right. Time will tell about the durability, but as of now there is nothing negative to say about it -- a very pleasant surprise!
