Canclini Tan Linen Fabric

$150 $120

Description

Fabric Description

A nice tan linen option is an easy choice for the beach or pool. The natural wrinkling that occurs in linen is something we love, and the slubby texture only adds to this relaxed vibe. The fabric is woven by Canclini in Italy with 65/1 x 65/1 construction and will have a nice, open weave that breathes incredibly well. Go for a soft collar, soft cuffs, and soft placket on this one--extra points for horn buttons, as well.

  • Perfect for casual summer shirts

  • To me the color looks a little more beige than tan in person. Good quality lightweight linen.

  • I love the light heft of this fabric. The color is a shade lighter than it it appears in the photo—it\'s a very light tan. And a little translucent.

  • great fabric. very unique texture. a little more see through than i originally thought. great summer and spring shirt

October 2015  ·  Ronald in Brooklyn, NY

  • The fabric is on the lighter side, even for a linen, which is great for humid summer days. However I was kind of surprised by the color, which has more of an \"orange pastel\" hue than the website view indicates -- definitely warmer in tone. In any case, I ordered this shirt fabric with a \"Canclini Ink Blue Linen\" collar accent and the two look great together.

  • Love the fabric! Excellent summer casual material, great summer color, and the breeze passes right through it. Could personally wish it were more opaque (can\'t have the sun), but excellent nonetheless.

  • Just like the other Canclini linens, this fabric doesn\'t need any washings to soften up - it feels great immediately. It has a very casual slubby look in person, with some white speckling thrown in. Very casual.

  • Difficult color to wear. Not a huge fan of this one.

September 2015  ·  Giri in Newport Beach, CA

  • A solid linen fabric that resists the soiling that normally occurs with white linens. Of course it wrinkles very easily, it\'s linen.

  • Love these linens!

August 2015  ·  Christopher in Tinton Falls, NJ

  • very comfortable shirt for being linen.

August 2015  ·  Thomas in Brooklyn, NY

  • Sand colored. A bit see through.

August 2015  ·  Christopher in Napa, CA

  • This is a very nice nice fabric. It is the airy linen that I wanted for warm weather and summer-holidays wear. it is easy to dress up with a nice blazer, or wear un-tucked with khakis or shorts at the beach. It has a great drape and quality feel and appearance. It is a darker-tan than what I was expecting (based on what I see on my computer screen for the fabric coloring), but it is a great choice nonetheless.

  • This is awesome. Well worth the money. BUT -> Get it a few inches shorter than usual. Trust me. This is such an amazing casual shirt.

  • I bought this shirt after checking out a fabric sample, so I have no complaints; but wearing it, I find the color a bit bland.

  • This is a beautiful linen and works great with brown horn buttons. It has a nice oatmeal color. It\'s great for casual wear at the pool, I would advise getting it a few inches shorter to wear untucked.
