I've always loved being on the Brooklyn Bridge. At sunrise it's particularly striking. You're outside. The wind is blowing past and a massive river is flowing below. Yet you're standing on and surrounded by architectural masterpieces. Cars buzzing by. The Manhattan bridge to your right. Statue of Liberty to your left. And the soaring buildings of downtown Manhattan ahead. The nearly complete Freedom Tower rises above, reflecting the sun like a torch while cranes move to finish the job. It's all a testament to human accomplishment. What can be possible when we put our heads down. Get to work. Which is what we're about. Making things happen. It's not easy. These things don't build themselves.
